Why should Professional Visitors Pre-login Online?

For the first time, the 9th CHITEC provides professional visitors with pre-login service. After pre-login, professional visitors will get login IDs, and may get professional "chest cards" in "Online Pre-login Visitors Pass" with their pre-login IDs and names. Visitors may use these chest cards to visit exhibition halls.

Why should Exhibitors register online?

www.chitec.cn provides exhibitors with plenty of online brand promotion and acquisition of leads. Benefits of online registration include:
1. One year free use of Virtual Hall; release freely news, photos, information, leads, cooperation intention and corporate introduction of exhibitors; Upgrade corporate image by CHITEC platform with extension both in time and place; use search service provided by official website of CHITEC.
2. Obtain name list of professional visitors registered by CHITEC;
3. Obtain name list of journalists and media registered by CHITEC;
4. Facilitate searching by professional visitors;
5. Facilitate searching by journalists.


Are Translators/Interpreters available during CHITEC?

During the event, Exhibition Group of the Office of CHITEC Organizing Committee will offer personnel services. Commissions for translators/interpreters in English, Japanese, German, French, Italian and other languages (those who require such service shall indicate the language required) will be RMB 830 Yuan to RMB 1,660 Yuan per day.
Remarks: 
1) According to relevant laws of the People'ss Republic of China, the remuneration of translators/interpreters will be doubled on Saturday and Sunday (May 20, 21 and 27).
2) Remuneration of temporary working personnel employed after the deadline or during the event will be subject to 30% surcharge on the basis of the above quotation.
3) All expenses must be paid to the Exhibition Group of the Office of CHITEC Organizing Committee before Apr. 10, 2006. The exhibitor failing to do so is required to pay such expenses in cash on site before receiving relevant services.
4) Working time of all the working personnel employed by exhibitors are only limited to the exhibition hours of CHITEC. Those exhibitors requesting such personnel to overwork shall give prior notice to the organizer.
5) All local working personnel must be employed through the Exhibition Group of the Organizing Committee of CHITEC. According to relevant regulations of the People's Republic of China concerning the exhibitions, all foreign exhibitors must submit the list of local working personnel employed to the organizer of CHITEC to enable the organizer to go through the related procedures and prepare the breastplates for such working personnel. 


Free Contract Signing Room Service during CHITEC

To facilitate the business negotiations and signing of contracts of enterprises attending CHITEC, the Contract Signing Service Center specially set up by the Organizing Committee of CHITEC will be made available to them free of charge during this year’s event (May 24-26). 
The Contract Signing Room service is specially designed for those enterprises and institutions agreeing to sign contract or letter of intent during the event but failing to secure an ideal venue for contract signing.
With an area of approximately 100 square meters, the Contract Signing Room is furnished with large fixed backboards, tables, chairs and shelves for lodging of documents and materials.
Enterprises intending to sign contract may sign the contracts directly on site, without needing to make any additional preparation. An enterprise may, by making the very little preparations and affixing several big sticker characters, make the Contract Signing Room its own venue for contract signing in a few minutes. In addition, the Contract Signing Room is also an important channel for reporters to collect the latest information about CHITEC.
The Organizing Committee of CHITEC has offered free Contract Signing Room service in five consecutive years since the 4th Beijing International High-tech Expo, which is well acclaimed by various participants.
Exhibitors and attendants intending to use the Contract Signing Room during the event are required to give prior notice to the Biz Talks Group.

How will the Professional Visitors Enter the Venues of CHITEC?

1. Register at the official website of CHITEC (http://www.chitec.cn) to obtain the electronic tickets. 
2. Obtain the magcard at the entrance of the China International Exhibition Center, the venue of CHITEC. (the magcards are not ticket and used to control the number of visitors at the venue.
3. Obtain the breastplate for a professional audience with magcard at the Passage for Online Registered Visitors inside the China International Exhibition Center.


Is Train/Air Ticket Reservation Service Available during CHITEC?

It depends. CHITEC is comprised of various activities including exhibitions, series of forum conferences, trade fairs and promotional activities. Each activity has an relatively independent organizing unit, who provides exhibitors and attendants with different services. Some organizing units will provide such reservation services while others may not.
Exhibitors and visitors of CHITEC can visit the official website of CHITEC for online air ticket and train ticket inquiry and reservation. Ticket delivery service is also available.


Is the Admission to CHITEC 2006 Charged? How to Get Tickets?

The admission to CHITEC is free of charge. Visitors can get tickets at China International Exhibition Center during the exhibition period.


How to Park in the Exhibition Center?

There is a parking lot on the opposite side of the main entrance of China International Exhibition Center.


How to Dine in the Venues of Exhibition?

In accordance with the regulations of China International Exhibition Center, to ensure the food sanitation, no fast-food restaurants are allowed to deliver foods to the venues of exhibition. All exhibitors can buy fast foods in the exhibition center or dine out or bring foods into the exhibition hall.
