As a world renewed economist, Mr. Grzegorz W. Kolodko held positions of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance four times between 1994 and 2003, under four different Prime Ministers. He is a consultant for the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, United Nations and OECD. Mr. Kołodko was graduated from Warsaw School of Economics in 1972, earned his doctorate in 1976, and became a professor in 1984. In 1989 he was participating in the historical Polish Round Table. From 1989 to 1991, he was the member of Economic Council of the Government. In 2002-2003, he played an important role in Poland's integration with the European Union While Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance. Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko is a renowned Polish economist specializing in development economy, system reforms and public finances, and a world expert on transition and development currently heading a research center at Kozminski University. He authored 35 books and over 300 scientific articles in the area of economics. His publications were translated into over 20 languages. As a fellow researcher of many famous universities in US, he is currently Director of TIGER - Transformation, Integration and Globalization Economic Research and professor at the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw.
