Circular Economy Seminar-Energy Saving Technology and Major Project Promotion was held in China International Exhibition Center on the afternoon of 24th May. Experts from universities, enterprises and relevant research institutes communicated and discussed energy conservation, PM2.5 governance issues, ecological and environmental protection and other topics.
China Low-carbon Economy Development Report (2013) was released for the first time and explained by Zhao Zhongxiu, Vice Chairman of Foreign Economic and Trade University. This report is the first research report series of low carbon economy. It discusses international economy status after world financial crisis, compares experience and policy of countries to develop low-carbon economy, summarizes their respond to new trends in climate change, and analyzes including a wide range of extreme weather and environmental issues such as fog and hazes for policy formulation and provides reference for government decision-making.
To increasingly serious problem for PM2.5, combining practical management experience, experts from International Centre for Economic Policy Research of Nagoya University and Chinese Academy of Urban Development and Environment Institute proposed feasible measures. Experts and scholars from Energy Research Institute National Development And Reform Commission, Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), and Institute of Policy and Management, Chinese Academy of Sciences discussed Chinese low-carbon economy and circular economy development road from a macro perspective.
As platform for publishing and promotion of recycling economy, energy conservation, low-carbon economy, conservation-oriented society, new
materials, new technologies, new processes, patents and other projects, Bamboo China Willow Group and Suzhou Gaia Technology participated and gave speeches and promotion. Experts were invited to review the items in enterprise promotion to give evaluative comments for the project side reference.
