I. Background:

China Beijing international High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) has been held in the capital city in May for 20 consecutive years. It is a great gathering where domestic high-tech industries engage with their international peers.

As a major event of CHITEC, China Financial Summit will be staged at Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng Hotel on May 16-17, 2018, with the theme of “Fintech, A Driver of Real Economy”.

The annual Summit focuses on frontier and trending topics concerning macro economy and finance. Through high-profile dialogue, roundtables, closed-door meetings, project promotions and capital matchmaking, in-depth discussions will revolve around international macro economy, global economic integration, financial openness, financial innovation, fintech, financial leasing, supply chain finance, and prospects for domestic capital markets - all of them are highly relevant to Chinese economy. Guests present at previous Summits came from regulatory authorities (e.g. MOFCOM, PBoC, CBIRC and CSRC), the municipal government, and financial institutions at home and abroad (e.g. the Export-Import Bank of China, ICBC and CCB).
